Understanding English ADJECTIVE
It is a word that describes or adds some further meaning to a noun or a pronoun. For example good, white, light, tall etc.
However, some adjectives don't have degrees but the word more is used to make their comparative or superlative forms. The examples include: Beautiful, splendid, remarkable etc. There is another group of adjectives which are not used in comparative or superlative degrees. The examples include antique, unique, ancient etc.
Understanding English ADVERB
A word which adds to the meaning of a verb or adjective is called an adverb. Examples are:
Explaining verb: Slowly, carefully, quickly, wisely etc.
Explaining Adjective: Very tall, so late etc.
Adverbs also define time like Today, tomorrow, now etc.
